Flu, Croup, ER

Our family was slammed with a flu. Jake developed croup and when we took him to the Doctor, he was transferred to the ER. He was given an epinephrine dose and steroid shot in his thigh. It’s been busy. We’ve been trying to keep John Paul from this, and we’ll have to see.

Flu

Our family has come down with the flu. Trying to keep it from wee man will be tricky. I’m so grateful that my husband can still be here to take care of us. God sees more than we can see.

General Conference 2019

We enjoyed listening to the Prophet and Apostles. My favorite talks were Elder Hales, Elder Renlund, Elder Christofferson, Elder Callister, and President Nelson’s talk from Priesthood session. I love knowing that Christ lives and knows us, and speaks today.

Spring

This spring has been spent quietly: holding John Paul, taking walks with the kids when possible, trying to live in and appreciate the moments of the present.

Holy Week

This week has been full of good activities: we’ve read through the events in the last week of Christ’s life, made hot cross buns and enjoyed a Seder meal to celebrate the Passover.
