Another trip to the E.R., COVID19 and home time

We have had an interesting year thus far in 2020. I am grateful that today as the day comes to a close that we are all healthy and warm in our home.

-Our furnace died, the same part that we replaced last year for nearly 1000$ exploded. It would cost 300$ to replace so Ryan and I decided to try to eek it out till summer and refinish the house with water heating in the floor.

-COVID 19 broke out all over the world. It's like the world has been put on pause. It's a little surreal. It's weird to see the news and see all of these huge cities closed down over this pandemic. It's not supposed to be so bad, and people do recover mostly, but so many of them need oxygen at the same time that the hospitals get overworked and don't have enough supplies.

-Lily had a trip to the E.R. today. Her sister was playing "medicine" and had her take several tablespoons of baking soda which is toxic. Quite a scare for me, and hopefully an indelible lesson for the girls to be careful and not play games like that. I'm grateful she and everyone is safe here.
This beautiful shot though made me think about how God is in control.
Our favorite place to wander after our sacrament at home on Sundays.

I am planting a much larger garden this year to hopefully help grow our food.

Genealogy

John Paul turned one. He really is the sweetest chill baby.
I’ve been doing more genealogy and it’s been a blessing for us. This photo above my grandpa is center. Below he is on the right in the green shirt. I’ve learned a lot about Ryan’s side. I am grateful that Ryan is such a wonderful husband. He supports me and blesses me so much.
