Remembering Easter

These are some pictures of our Easter since I’ve been behind. We made Resurrection Rolls (marshmallows bake away to make an empty tomb), talked about Christ and had a wonderful day. We went and sang to Uncle Mike and Aunt Vera from a distance.

Sunday April 25

After our home Sacrament, we drove to Huntsville to see the graves of some of my Dad’s ancestors. That graveyard was closed, but the one in Eden had my Dad’s great great grandfather buried there. Then we drove through Liberty and up into North Ogden, and then found several graves in Brigham City. I love my little family and that they are always game for an adventure.

Hiking with Mom

There was a warm spring day. The kids wanted to get out. We went to the mountains.

Easter 2020

I have loved the home church. It was a beautiful sacrament meeting. I love my family.

Little man

Little man... you are growing up so fast. I can’t believe you are already standing and scootching around the kitchen in your walker. I cherish every moment and love you, little baby.

God is at the Helm

I love the sunrise sunsets here. This one was gorgeous! It’s comforting to know that God who can make such magnificent sunrises is at the helm during this crazy pandemic. Reading the news about the strain on the hospital system is a little chilling. I am so grateful to live here, so the kids have space to run around.
Jake loves to get into Ryan’s stuff. The thing that’s cute about this mess though is that it’s organized according to a 2 year old. The remotes and phones together, the bolts, keys... we love this little boy. Ryan gave him a fat baby screwdriver and he pretends to go around fixing things.
Rupert is a good dog. He isn’t supposed to come in the living room, and here he’s sneaking his bum in. We accidentally forgot to shut him in his kennel and he was curled up in the corner of the couch on the floor. We were so blessed to get him if we were going to have a dog. Below, I caught Jake finishing off the apricot jam.
